I saw this LCD Vizio television on sell during Black Friday and on a impulse I decided to jump on the deal. The saying "you get what you pay for" is now something I live by after purchasing this television. Don't get me wrong it's not a bad television for the right price, but picture quality isn't up to my standards. The colors are very noticeably washed out and it has trouble with different shades of black. I tried calibrating the television and it just wasn't capable of looking much better. I can tolerate the washed out effect, but whenever a decent percentage of black appears it looks pixleted, especially at a range of 5 to 10 feet. From a further distance it's not too bad, but it's still noticeable to any one with decent vision. Viewing angles aren't the greatest and the sound needs to be on 20 in order to get optimal sound. If you want the best picture quality I suggest you save your money and buy something you'll be satisfied with in the long run.

I have had this TV for two years now and have yet to have a problem! Its about 36 pounds with a great picture quality. The only downside to this TV is that I wish they had more then 2 HDMI hookups. That is very inconvenient for me but I still highly recommend this TV. It's also a little heavier then other LCD models but it's not that big of a deal and one person can still easily carry it or move it around. It also has the SRS TruSurround HD so the sound is evenly distributed around the room. It looks nice, clean and hardly any glare when up on the wall. You won't regret buying this TV. It's a great price for a whole lot of TV. I will defiantly buy another Vizio LCD TV again!

You could always do better in the purchase of your TV, but if you are on somewhat of a budget this TV is great. It does everything you need except for the features you see in the more modern smart TV's. Picture Quality The TV has a great clear picture. There is of course functions in the menu that help you adjust according to what type of video you are watching. The picture is never fuzzy and lives up to my husband's high standards. We use the TV for cable, dvd, video games, and hooking up tablets. Sound Quality The sound is as good as needed. There is really nothing special about it and I would suggest an attaced sound system if you are looking for theatre quality. For a normal person watching TV on a day to day basis with your family, this has a great sound. Durability The TV has been moved one time in the years that we have had it. So far the only problem is strange and random. About twice a year, when the TV is turned on the picture does not come on but the sound does. Turn it off then back on and the problem is fixed and never happens again for a long time. Design The TV is not the slimmest of models but fits perfectly with a modern decor. It does have the brand name that lights up on the front but is not very distractive. Performance Besides the no picture but sound problem mentioned above, the TV is great. There is no lapse in sound from dvd or video game system, so I am satisfied.

I got this television about 6 months ago and it has proven to be a great television. The picture is amazing, it has great clarity and stunning colors. It has alot of ports on the back including a VGA connection allowing me to connect my computer to the TV giving me a huge monitor. I like the sleek design of the television itself as well as the thin form factor and the remote is easy to use and intuitive enough to figure out. Plugging into the television via a HDMI cable is definatly the way to go in order to utalize the full capabilities of the television. It is easy enough to mount this television onto the wall and makes viewing it, in my option, just that much better. The cost of the television is a bit more because of the brand, vizio, but the extra cost is well worth it when you factor in the exceptional picture quality, sound, design, and ease of operation. I have had no technical or mechanical issues with the television since I have had it and dont anticipate having any going foward either.

We bought this TV about a year and a half ago and have loved it!!! Not only is this TV a regular flat screen with HD it can be wall mounted or table top displayed. We wall mounted ours and love that we can pull it away from the wall and tilt the TV up, or down, left or right. This helps avoid glares on the screen and puts your viewing in prime real estate. If the kids are lying on the floor watching a movie we can tilt it down so they can see the screen straight on. If we are sitting on the couch we can turn the TV left or right so that we can see the screen straight on and watch TV without getting a crink in our neck. It has great resolution and the picture is always clear! We love how big the screen is and that the picture takes up the whole TV. The thickness of the TV is not to much either. The one thing I don't like about it is that all of the manual buttons for control are on the side of the TV instead of the front. The buttons can be hard to press but that may be just because we have not pressed them manually very much. Go get yourself one!!

We bought our Vizio tv over a year ago and mounted it on our wall. It is amazing! It works better then expected and the quality of the picture is simply phenomenal ! We are the envy of the neighborhood with our Vizio! I am thankful we made the decision to go with Vizio because it is so affordable easy to use and exactly what we wanted! We also love the look of the t it looks much cooler and much more exspensive then most other tvs. It also still looks exactly the same as when we bought it. Virtually no wear and tear! The sound quality would blow your mind! I have only noticed one thing I dislike and that is when you turn on the tv it makes no sound so you cannot tell if it is on or off. So you tend to press the button more then necessary trying to make sure it is on. We have used our Vizio to play video games which always impresses everyone playing how amazing the picture is! Watch movies, cable and have also watched many netflix movies. We also have used it with the hdmi cable and couldnt believe how clear everything looked! We will continue to tell everyone how impressed we are with the product in hopes that everyone we know will choose to shop Vizio. We are now looking into buying a larger Vizio so we can move this one into our bedroom. The energy star is also yet another great reason to purchase this tv. In this day in age you can never save enough energy.

This tv we have now had for over 3 years. The quality is excellent. The picture is crystal clear, and it sure seems to be holding up quite well. We use our tv regularly atleast 6 hours a day and it is still running strong with the same picture and sound quality as the first day we brought it home. Several people told us not to purchase this because it was cheap. Well I must say yes Vizio televisions are cheap but surely are not cheaply made. As I purchase more LCD tvs I plan to only buy Vizio, as per the quality and price can not be beat. Also this tv is very energy efficient. i highly recommend purchasing this tv whether you are on a budget or not as it is of the same quality as many other much more expensive overpriced televisions.

HDTV LCD TV** **** **I  am constantly buying a bigger or better or newer television every couple of years, i recently purchased the **Vizio - E420VO 42 in. HDTV LCD TV in this recent year . I am completely satisfied with it and will in fact probably keep it longer than i have any other television for the fact that it looks better , is the perfect size  . It looks soo amazing mounted up on a wall . Or you can use it as not just a television but as your computer screen  so you dont have to crowd your room or house up with a big bulky computer monitor ... this one looks way better than any monitor you could buy anyways ,,, the picture is so awesome and clear any movie or television show looks good on it . its so easy to use to .. it dont have a bunch of hard to understand installation or buttons to press to progarm . In fact it was so easy my grandmother got one and managed to set it up herself .****

I recenlty purchased this Vizio TV and before I did I read many online reviews much like this one. Almost every reveiw addressed an issue that people had with the sound. I can tell you after having the TV for about a week that there really isn't that big of an issue with the sound. Me and my wife watch it in our bedroom and rarely have the sound turned up that high as our son sleeps in the room right next door and we think the sound is great. It's almost like it is on another pitch level or something because we can here it fine, but it doesn't radiate throughout the house. If you are a surround sound buff I suppose you may have a legitimate beef, but otherwise it is great. Beautiful picture.
