About Vital Radiance Color Extending Lip Pencil, Spice

This lip liner is very creamy and smooth. It comes in a pink tube with a plastic bottom so you can see the pencil and it screws up so you always have a good amount to use on the lips. I bought the shade Spice but there are a number of shades to choose from.

This pencil is different from other lip liners. It is pigmented and made to line and fill in the lips for longer color wear. I carefully line my lips then full them in completely with the pencil. It is smooth so it doesn't tug my lips. Then I apply lip primer and finally my lip color. I have a perfect mouth that is colored but not garish and that doesn't need touching up for ages. When my lip color starts to wear off, I have another layer of matte color under it so I can get away with not touching up all day. Because the pencil is pretty deeply shaded, I make sure to line within the lip line. I hate seeing rings around my or other people's mouths. This pencil lasts for hours and hydrates my lips at the same time. A liner, a color extender, and a pencil that makes my lips look fuller. Who could ask for more? I just wish there were a few more lighter shades but I'll take what I can get.

My Viewpoint

This lip pencil is special because it is creamy and hydrating, not hard. It lines, fills in the lips, and extends lip color wear. The shades are a bit deep which is good for when lip color wears off but you need to be careful when lining and match your lip color to the pencil as best you can. I like this pencil and give it 4 stars. I would love a couple of subtler shades but this line is being discontinued and that won't happen unfortunately.
