Where to start . . . The Vita - Mix 5000 blender (now the 5200) is an incredibly powerful blender.  We use it primarily to make smoothies, pancakes, and frozen drinks when intertaining.  We have also used it to make peanut butter, which, I would think, is one of the most challenging things to make with a blender.  I would be making peanut butter with an average blender would burn out the motor relatively quickly . . . not with the Vita - Mix!  The other thing we have made with the Vita - Mix is ice cream and sorbet.  The process to make anything frozen like ice cream or sorbet is so simple,...
