Vita-Mix 5200 Blender Review

The Vitamix  500 Blender has been a real gift to me.  There is just so much you can do with it.  I have had so many blenders over the years and this one is so much better than all the others.  There a multiple speeds on this blender and it comes in several colors.  I have it in black and Ithink it comes in white and red also.  I use it for making smoothies and juices.  I was really curious about how well it did juices.  I make a fresh vegetable juice every day and I make it in this blender.  It works somuch better than a juicer because it is so clean and so few parts that it is really easy to clean.  Basically you just wash out the glass container that you have just blended in and that is it.  Not like a juicer that usually has so many little parts and blades to be washed each time you use it.  It does get a little warm so I add ice at the end and continue blending for another second or don't even blend in the ice, just add the ice.  There are many other things you can do with it also.  You can make from scratch soup in it since it does get hot.  It is so powerful, efficient and versatile.  That is what I like most about it.
