Because I am highly allergic to artificial color I ordered some vitamins that, on the website, specified no added color. When they arrived I opened the bottle to see yellow tablets. Uh oh. I looked at the label and saw "artificial color" and "titanium dioxide" which is another name for food dye. I contacted Vita Cost but even though it was their mistake I could only get a refund by returning them at my expense. Not only would it not be worth the cost, but as a shut-in it would be extremely difficult. I threw these worthless vitamins in the trash and decided that was the last time I would order from Vita Cost. Based strictly on my experience I should give this company one star. But because of the wide range of products, and low shipping, someone who does not have these particular problems would probably find Vita Cost a convenient place to shop.
