— I was told about Vista Print's surplus of free items by a friend and went to check it out. Right off the bat, I'd like to warn you that they will ask you to order a plethora of costly add-ons to your "free" order, and their shipping isn't cheap, but if you're shrewd you can still get your stuff for cheaper than at most places such as Staples or Office Depot. Ordered 100 business card size magnets as a Save-the-Date reminder for my friend's wedding. I designed the magnet and it was very easy to follow the site's guidelines for saving and uploading the file. I found a good deal online, so I paid extra for expedited shipping to receive them within 1 week. I was lured to this site by the free products and even after reading a few negative reviews elsewhere, I decided to give it a try. I selected some plain business cards and a self-inking stamp. Though there aren't a lot of free templates to choose from I found a very plain, tasteful one. It was easy to use the basic templates to input my text. I selected the cheapest "slow" shipping and my items came a week earlier than expected. The cards look really nice (there's just some small Vistaprint info on the backs) and the stamp works great! The photo calendars are the best gift ever, especially for someone that has everything! You just upload your own pictures and they print them on glossy thick cardstock photo paper and bind it for you. They're fantastic! I started that tradition last year and had a blast doing it again this year. Vista Print also gives you the option of adding your own special dates to each month, so it's totally personalized to the person you're giving it to. I learned about VistaPrint (see VistaPrint.com) from a friend when I was starting a private therapy practice. I found the website easy to use and the delivery was fast. You get a large number of free business cards sent right to you. The cards are not fancy, and there are a limited number (yet wide variety) of free designs, but I found one that worked fine for me. I ordered a set of regular business cards from Vista Print and noticed that I didn't get an email confirmation of the order.  I looked on the site and saw that the account info (name & emial address attached to my account) were inaccurate.  I called their customer service and I experienced a grueling, condescending, and waste of time filled conversation.  The cards came & they are "alright" for personal use, but I can't really use them for the sake of my business' credibility.  So, I basically don't use them unless I'm completely out of my "good" business cards I got from… read full review »

Vista Print has been a good resource for people who are on a budget wanting to start a small business. They can get business cards, ink stamps, postcards for mailings. Several other things. While in business you can get inexpensive personalized post it notes, many of these things you can try for free.
