 Nora Roberts writes excellent romance novels, but she also writes excellent thrillers, but when she writes the thriller she uses the name J.D. Robb.  J.D. Robb I think is Nora's more dangerous alter ego.  As J.D. Robb she writes a series of books starring a female lead character by the name of Eve Dallas.  Eve Dallas is a police officer and as the series progresses she eventually becomes a Lieutenant.  There are several reaccuring characters in this series including Peabody, Dallas's now partner, and former underling, Dallas's and Dallas's husband Rourke a very rich successfully socialite,... review »

This book is one of the many great writing of J.D. Robb also known as Nora Roberts.  First picked up one of Nora's books and read the best romantic story.  Then found her other pen name and have been reading ever since. 

Eve Dallas is the main character in this story and all the "In Death" books in the series.  Everything is set in the future, no guns but defiantly murder.  She is a murder cop who will go to great lengths to catch the monsters in the books.  The love of her life, her husband Roarke, is always there to help and support her.  It helps that he is the richest man alive!!  Billionaire...

This book out of the In Death series, by J.D. Robb was, IMO, not up to the usual standards.

The opening was quite good. It set a very good stage, but as the story got more involved it took a turn that I just wasn't interested in.

The action between Eve and Roarke was as good as ever. The relationship between Eve and her co-workers was good. It was the path to finding the killer that was weak. I don't know how else to describe it without giving the ending away.

I am a huge Nora Roberts fan  and read anything of hers I can get my hands on and the J D Robb in Death series of books are no exception.  I find with her books that I could easily see them playing out on screen and think these would be great for tv.  I enjoy reading about the same characters from book to book like a never ending story.

Another great book from a talented author. Nora Roberts aka JD Robb. The author does a superb job at keeping the reader drawn to this series. The characters and plots hold my attention and make it almost impossible to put the book down. I cant wait for the next book to be released!
