Visine, the most effective eye drops

By

from Hialeah, FL

Comments about Visine Advanced Relief Eye Drops:

My husband is a welder, and he often needs to refresh his eyes. He has used many brands and many strenghts, but Visine is the most effective, specially Visine Advanced Relief. Other eye drops are less expensive, but it is worth it to pay for a quality product. I am a contact lens wearer and it also works for me when needed.

Visine is a lifesaver!

By

from Bland, VA

Comments about Visine Advanced Relief Eye Drops:

I've used Visine for years and have to say it is a lifesaver. My eyes get dry a lot, especially on cold winter days when the air is drier and everyone knows that your eyes being dry and itchy is never a great feeling. It makes it difficult to do pretty much anything.

Visine fixes all that. Just put a couple drops in each eye, blink a few times and you can feel the Visine working almost instantly. Within a few minutes, almost all of the dryness and itchiness is gone. They also work great for that mysterious "I have something in my eye" feeling that won't go away sometimes. In addition to that, it also almost instantly cures red eye.

Visine can be a little pricey, but a bottle seems to last forever and just a couple drops go a long way.

Overally, I would recommend Visine Advanced Relief Eye Drops to anyone that seems to get dry/irritated eyes, even if only ocassionally. Definitely a great product!

So So

By

from Daly City, CA

Comments about Visine Advanced Relief Eye Drops:

These eye drops were average. I only use eye drops when my eyes turn red or become irritated. These drops make my eyes feel better but sometimes they do not reduce the redness or make them feel better. They just cause my eyes to become watery and I start tearing up and sometimes it leaves my eyes stinging or feeling worse than before. These drops maybe better for dry eyes but not for irritation and redness. I do not feel like eye drops are a good investment because they expire in a year or so and I only use a little bit. They should make smaller sized bottles. Sometimes I feel reluctant to put unknown substances into my eye, especially when my eyes are hurting already. These drops are only needed for certain parts of the year when my allergies act up and I need relief. I feel like the other kind of visine might work better than the advance relief. I use to use the drops for redness relief and they worked a lot better than these.

Visine Eye Drops are good, but could be better!

By

from Franklin, TN

Comments about Visine Advanced Relief Eye Drops:

I've been using these Visine drops for almost a year.  I am a contact lens wearer, so I do mostly use them before I put my lens in, and after I take my lens out (or if I decide to wear my glasses one day).  I also suffer from seasonal allergies, so I tend to have a lot of redness and itchiness in my eyes due to the pollen, dust, etc.  I bought these thinking they would help with my allergy symptoms, as I was being told by a lot of people that my eyes were constantly red (obviously something you don't like to hear!), so I tried these.  They have done the job well (getting rid of redness, itching, etc.), and I've been buying them mostly because there are on sale and have a coupon to pair with them.  They don't do much in the aspect of lubricating your eyes very well.  It's not that they dry them out, but they are very "thin" (they are watery compared to some eye drops I've used, which have a thicker consistency).

good eye drops for dry eyes

By

from Terre Haute, IN

Comments about Visine Advanced Relief Eye Drops:

Chronic dry eyes or even the occasional dry eye problem - is very annoying to have to deal with. This is one of my favorite eye drops to use for dry eyes. I have chronic dry eyes and have to re-apply eye drops several times a day. The advanced relief gives more extended relief than the regular formulas. I have one beside the bed, one in my purpose, one in the bathroom, and one on my makeup tables. Love these. They are a bit pricey, more than the generic brands of course. But they work better. If you have dry eyes and that is the reason you are using eye drops, then do not use the redness relief formula as it can be drying and irritating. If you use drops for dry eyes problems like I do - this is a good choice. I use it up to half a dozen times a day (sometimes more) and it does not irritate. I would definitely recommend this. Visine has another extended relief type eye drops for dry eyes and those are just good as well.

Visine Triple Action Soothes Eyes

By

from Denver, CO

Comments about Visine Advanced Relief Eye Drops:

Visine Triple Action eye drops really soothe dry eyes. I had Lasiks surgery a few years ago -- and have always had dry eyes. I wake up now with really dry and sore eyes. I bought the Visine Triple Action because it seeme to be the most soothing product they offered. it really works. My eyes can feel red and irritated, but the Visine Triple Action seems to soothe the dryness away. The mositurizing products are gentle but effective, I don't like the gel eye drops because they make my eyes feel sticky. The Triple Action seems a much better product.

Visine eye drops also last awhile. I use mine daily, and a bottle lasts me several months. The Triple Action drops aren't too pricey, but it's still nice to have a product last awhile.

The Visine Triple Action eye drops are not listed on the Visine website at the moment. I hope that doesn't mean they've discontinued this valuable product! If so, bring it back, Visine!

Tried It, But Not Impressed With Visine Advanced Relief

By

from Lake Forest, CA

Comments about Visine Advanced Relief Eye Drops:

I had lasik eye surgery a few years ago and my eye doctor recommended that I use lubricating eye drops throughout the day to keep my eyes from feeling dry.  I generally use Systane Lubricating Eye Drops, however, I had a coupon for Visine and the Visine Advanced Relief eye drops were on sale at my local drug store so I thought I would give them a try.  I was so dissapointed.  The drops sting a little bit when I put them in my eyes and the moisturizing lubricant does not last for very long.  I find that I need to use this product three times more frequently than Systane drops, so I think Systane is a much better value in the long run.

My eyes say, Oh thank God for Visine!

By

from Nederland, CO

Comments about Visine Advanced Relief Eye Drops:

I never used to have allergies when I was younger, and I feel way more sensitive to dryness in the air than I used to be as well. That leaves me with dry eyes and itchy contacts, so I have to use eye drops sometimes. I love Visine because it really takes the red out, and leaves me with comfortable, moist eyes. I also feel like some eye drops that I've tried almost irritate me eyes more from using them, but that's not a problem with the Visine. I kind of wish, however, that the bottle was designed a little differently, because it's hard to get the drops in your eye without spilling them on your cheeks as well. Although that might just be me not applying them correctly too!

Visine is kind of pricey, but I don't know any effective eye drops that aren't. However, they are worth the money and they do work, so that's a plus. These are my go-to dry or irritated eye solution, and I love them!!!

Advanced relief indeed!

By

from Elk Grove, CA

Comments about Visine Advanced Relief Eye Drops:

I have worn contacts for almost 7 years now and I have some bad habits with them that my optometrist has strongly urged me to stop doing. But habits are hard to break, especially when they make your life easier or more enjoyable.

I don't clean my contact lenses off very often, I sleep with them in every night, I don't change them every 30 days like I'm supposed to, and I often pay the price. The price is typically dried out eyes. And not just typical dry eyes, but desert-like dry eyes where my lenses literally stick to my eyeballs. I've tried many different brands and kinds of eye drops to help ease my pain, and while all of them work well enough, none of them work quite like these ones. These eye drops are as comforting as a down pillow at the end of a long, tiring day. I don't know how to even put it into words how they cool off and moisten my eyes to perfection. I no longer suffer through mornings with burning eyes because these take away the pain in a matter of seconds.
