1. I just pulled down the $50 one and the $25 one. I know I am responsible but I feel everyone should know so they don't make the mistake I made.
2. Under the dollar amount which is in large numbers are smaller print which I did not see and even if I did I'm not sure I could read it. I later learned that it said $4.95 activation...

My Original Review in February 09: My little brother bought this "Visa Gift" card for Christmas so he would have a credit card to purchase my gift online.  The card never went through.  In his frustration, and minus the expletives, he finally gave me the card and said, "Here's the money, go buy the gift yourself."  When I finally found the wallet I'd be pining for I happily handed the $100 Visa gift card to the cashier!  It didnt work.  She tried every dollar amount and it was declined.  Disappointed, I bought the wallet with my own money, thinking I'd try to recoup the cash elsewhere. ...

I did not buy the All-Access Visa Gift Card, it was a christmas gift from my parents.

I would not have paid $5.95 to convert paper to plastic. 

There is an EXPIRATION date(11 months) on the card. How does money expire?

The card itself does NOT, even in the fine print, state that there is a $2.95 MONTHLY FEE after 7 months and each month after that until it expires.

I have had/bought many gift certificates over the years, and none of them had any of these fees.

This card is designed to legally STEAL from people. They got $17.75 from my parents, who were just trying to give their son a $100 gift...

Just got 4 gift cards as a gift from a business associate.  I'm finding them largely unusable and frustrating, which negates the good feeling of getting a gift in the first place.

I found that I can't buy anything that is more than the amount on the card, unless I go to a merchant who allows "split transactions" so they'll accept 2 forms of payment (of which there AREN'T MANY) and that I can't combine cards or refill the cards.  I basically have to make sure that all of my transactions fall exactly UNDER the amount of the card and then throw away the card if there's a little bit left since I...

 My husband and I received visa gift cards as a wedding gift. It was frustrating because not everyone can take them and not everyone knows how to run them. I even got rejected at Nordstrom; luckily at customer service they were able to transfer the visa gift card onto a Nordstrom card. It's embarrassing and annoying that these are so difficult to use. GIVE CASH OR CHECK NOT VISA GIFT CARDS!

For reasons which I prefer not to go into here, I would like to have a cashier here in Tullahoma be able to reload a kmart Visa gift card, using only the card number which is printed on my receipt.  This would enable the card holder, who is 85 miles away, to be able to pay pharmacy co-pays using that card.  This would eliminate me having to purchase new cards to help this person with a specific need, and then having to mail them to the person.

There is always a risk of the card being lost or stolen en route.  As you may have guessed, I prefer not to hand over cash, which could be used for things...

WalMart Visa gift cards are nothing more than Legalized Robbery!

I was unable to use this gift card to purchase anything at 3 different locations (Best Buy, GNC etc) .

 They charge 2.95 a month for maintenance charge (which deducts right off the gift card value)

And they charge 50 cents for every call made to enquire about the balance.

AFter they charge you 50 cents, then they tell you that you can check the balance for free online !

It's really a useless card ! do not get it !

Visa All Access gift cards - Please never buy  it.

I was trying to use the card and it was not getting authorized. At the same time they were deducting the service charge because it was more than six months old. "Not allowing me to use it, and they taking out my money comfortably and shamelessly".

hey Walmart, please do not sell the cheating cards, you have much better options, please do not tie up with them and spoil your good name. 

We all have someone in our families that is just hard to buy for them .As for my in-laws, what do we buy them that they cannot go out any buy for themselves? So I mention to my husband lets get gift cards this year for everyone, this way if they don't like what we would have gotten them they have nothing to return and hey they get what they want and they can use it towards what ever they like. In addition, with the Visa gift card it can be use at more then one place.
