My husband used this phone for a year, and was pleased with it's performance. He got it because it was $20, and he wanted a flip phone.

We replaced it once early on because the battery failed, we had replaced the battery, but the phone wouldn't hold a charge. No idea why, as Radio Shack was pretty un-helpful with this situation. They basically said "we did what we're willing to do. Buy a new phone"

Ok. so we went to K-mart and got a new Oystr. He liked it, and we were hoping we'd just gotten a lemon the first time. We thought we had, but here we are 8 months later, replacing it again. This time it's the microphone. Sounds like he's wrapped the phone in a towel. I tried cleaning it, but I'm over it now.

Now I know it's a twenty dollar phone. That explains the cheap menus and the lack of features. It has no camera and can't recieve picture messages. It's a bare bones phone, but it can also text. although I can't imagine how he put up with that txt interface. Blech!

Bottom Line: It's worth twenty bucks, and you can throw it away, which is the Oystr's only saving grace.
