My first Virgin Mobile phone was only $9.99. It was a very simple phone, but it browsed the Internet. The Wild Card has many better features. I purchased it over a year ago for $99. Virgin Mobile phones provide unlimited Internet access for $5 per month. You also get fabulous content from Virgin itself.... read full review »

If you're looking for a solid prepaid phone with a keyboard, the Virgin Mobile Wild Card would be good for you. It has a great keyboard, camera, and basic extras (wallpapers, ringtones). Although if you're looking for a lot of extras (games, mp3s, video) I would reccomend another phone.

glad to see that the Wild Card offers a larger screen. It measures 1.5 inches (128x128 pixels) and supports 262,000 colors. While it shows the date, the time, the battery life, the signal strength, and photo caller IDs, it's disappointing that it doesn't work as a viewfinder for the external display. And since the camera is located on the rear of the device, without a self-portrait mirror, vanity shots are difficult. But back to the display: You can change the brightness and set a screen saver. And I like that you can use it to navigate through most of the menus.

The Wild Card's 500-contact phone...

The kyocera Wild card for Virgin Mobile is a ok phone. i was really excited to get it, but when i got it i wasnt so excited cuz it was a small phone and really normal. It gets boring after a while and you will put it aside and not even use it. the monthly plans are great and the internet not so great but other then that this phone is good.

I purched this phone a few months ago and since my service went down hill. My reception is horrible and I recieve texts a day late. I spent the money thinking that this would be better than the slider I had, but was disappointed. The only goodthing about it is the keypad.

The virginmobile wildcard is an average phone. It's pretty good for texting, emailing, yahoo and aol messenger, and playing games. It doesn't do videos and you can't really view them either. It also breaks easily if you drop it.

Well, this phone needs more improvement.  I have seen better.  This proves my point, I am not a big fan of Virgin mobile phones.  Again, the phone needs more improvement.
