Virgin Airlines Review

In March, we found this great deal from San Francisco to Las Vegas on Virgin Airlines. I can't remember exactly how much...I want to say $39 one way- it was unbelievably cheap so I couldn't resist.   I've never been to "Sin City" so I thought this was an awesome  trip with 3 of my girlfriends.  After booking the tickets online, which was a breeze, we looked forward to trying this airline since we had some good reviews from other buddies.   When we got to the gate, the ticketing agent was so personable and down-to-earth. This is one of the few times, we didn't feel rushed like cattle.  Then, as we were boarding the plane, a very chipper ticketing agent greeted us all by name with a smile, even though it was about 6:00am in the morning!  Oh yes, before we even boarded, they were asking for volunteers to play these games for prizes i.e. shooting a nerf ball into the basketball hoop.  For a second, I thought we were in the wrong place!  Although it was early in the morning, there was already a festive, fun atmosphere- what personal service, we all thought! 

Wow, when we got on this plane- we were so pleasantly surprised by the pink overhead lighting. Okay, it was a somewhat feminine ambiance but we were tickled pink (ignore the really bad cliche!)  After comfortably being seated, we noticed that we each had our own tv/movie screen on the back of the seats, just like Jetblue airlines but these had some extra features such as chatting with other passengers and music videos  (now, I understand the connection between the airline and the music store).  Since the flight was only a little over an hour and we weren't done playing with all the fun features, we felt that the flight was too short!  Usually, I can't wait to get off the airplane.  My girlfriends and I couldn't say enough good stuff about this experience and are looking forward to another flight with Virgin, such as to London!  Flight was smooth and was the perfect start to our trip. I would absolutely fly Virgin again!
