Virbac Epi-otic ear cleanser works great for cleaning out cat and dog ears. I have had many cats and dogs, of all different breeds with all different needs. Some pets get really dirty and smelly ears with a lot of gunk, and some don't. I have had pets that needed their ears cleaned on a regular basis and I've had some that rarely needed cleaning. For those pets who have really dirty ears this stuff works great. It loosens the stuck on greasy stuff all inside the ear and makes it very quick to clean and get it all out. Anyone who has had to clean ears out knows how yucky that job can be, and some dogs aren't the greatest at holding still or allowing it. Using this makes makes it easier on the dog and the cleaner as well. It also helps to keep the ears from getting an odor in between cleanings. The pets ears come out cleaner with a lot less work and time involved so it's well worth buying some! I recommend it for sensitive ears too because I use it on my older dog who has always had tender ears that easily get irritated and she has never had a problem. I like to put some in the ear and kind of close the ear up and massage all around the ear canal before I start cleaning the ears out. It works best to do one ear at a time and then moving on to the other side. I've never had any problems with using this and I don't even think about cleaning pets ears without this stuff! If I run out I won't do their ears without buying more. There are other brands out there but I haven't tried them because I am happy with the results I get with this kind. I have been using it a long time and my dogs have not had any side effects. I highly recommend it and once you try it, you won't want to do any cleanings without it! I have a goldendoodle who has big floppy ears. This is my first dog with big ears and I never had to worry about the ears so much before. As a puppy my dog had several ear infections and his ears would get really smelly. I started reading about what to do and I found Virbac Epi-Otic Ear Cleanser for dogs, cats, puppies & kittens at amazon. I ordered a bottle of this and I have never looked back. This stuff is great! You just squirt some in, rub the ear at the base for about 20 seconds. Then wipe it clean with a baby wipe. Ever since I started using Virbac I have had no trouble with my dogs ears at all. I usually use this about 3 times a week, and my dog is very good about letting me put it in. I did try another brand but I couldn't stand the smell of the ear cleaner, it was almost worse than the smelly ears. I even use this on my cats from time to time just to make sure their ears stay clean. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to maintain good ear health with their pet.

Virbac Epi-Otic has saved my dog from many ear issues. My dog has perfect ears, I mean, clean as can be, but the first time I took her to the beach I learned the hard way that they may not always be so clean. After a trip to the beach I noticed my dog's ears were irritated and getting dirty, which was highly unusual, so I took her to the vet, who said they were just irritated because they were dirty. The vet advised me to use Virbac Epi-Otic to keep her ears clean whenever I go to the beach and after my dog's bath to keep her ears dry and clean. This was two years ago and I have taken my dog to the beach many times and given her around two dozen baths and never had an issue. I have found this product to work very well in keeping her ears clean and dry when I put it in her ears right after giving her a bath or taking her to the beach. The small bottle lasted me through the expiration date too, so it is not expensive. The only small issue I have is that it says it smells like apple blossoms. I'm not sure what exactly apple blossoms smell like, but this has a very medicine-like scent. Side Effects No side affects other than the medicine-like scent for a couple of days.

My dog suffered from ear infections for weeks because of an undiagnosed food allergy and my vet recommend we use Virbac Epi-Otic Ear Cleanser to flush out and clean her ears.  Let me tell you that after using a ton of products to treat her ears nothing works better then Virbac Epi-Otic.  It's easy to use and works great to break up all the wax and infection in their ears and it's very gentle.  I should mention that this product alone won't cure ear infections, it is just a cleanser to clear the ears so that the medication your Veterinarian gives you works.  I used Virbac Epi-Otic every other week to make sure my dog's ears were clean and healthy and I have also used it to clean out my cat's ears as well.  Overall I would highly recommend this product to any pet owner, my only complaint about Virbac Epi-Otic is that I hate the smell of it but that is a small price I'm more then willing to pay for my pets to have healthy clean ears.

After rescuing my dalmatian Houston, I was sent home with this cleanser to clean his ears.  My dog was found on the streets with an ear filled up completely with blood (hematoma) and an infection.  I used this cleaner every time I cleaned his ears and I felt it did a great job getting all the gunk up with out irritating his sensitive floppy ears.  After months and months of cleaning his ears with solution, his ear infection wouldn't go away but it was only because I found out that what was causing this infection was yeast.  The vet assumed my dog had food allergies and once I switched him to a different food his ears clear up nicely.  Even though it didn't rid the infection on it's own, I have no complaints about this product. It does exactly what it is supposed to, it's gentle on my dogs ears and it is not at all expensive like many other ear cleaning solutions.  I did purchase this solution from the vet office, but it can be picked up at almost any pet store.  I still continue to use it when I clean my dogs ears to prevent any sort of infection and I love it!!
