We absolutely loved our original villaware waffle maker so when it broke after many years, we bought a second one from the same company. It is, however, not the same company as it was bought out by one of those cheap department store brands. The non-stick is not nearly as good quality and we do not get even heating all the time. It is satisfactory because for as long as the unit is new it has decent performance.
