What is Viewpoints?
Viewpoints is a gathering place for people that enjoy sharing their experiences with many different products. A place where a writer can be themselves and let their unique personality shine through in every review they write. There are the reviewers that use big fancy words, but can write well enough to get the point across to anyone reading that review. There are the humorous writers like myself that like to inject a little humor in each review they write.
Some writers can get a point across in a 200 word review and do a very good job of reviewing a product. Others may take a 1,000 words to tell about a product. The thing is both styles are acceptable and the site has some great writers on it.
Some of the writers I have reviewed and enjoy are GeorgeChabot a wonderful movie reviewer who gets you into a movie in his own unique way. He has reviewed many WWII movies and I love his reviews.Then there is TheBard another reviewer of movies with a different style but he has the ability to interest you in what he is writing about. His unique reviews are very interesting and entertaining while letting you know what the movie is all about.
Other reviewers of many different products such as BayouBengal a wonderful person and she writes down to earth and entertaining reviews on a wide range of things. Then there is PattyTherre who has written in excess of 1,000 reviews a very witty and wonderful reviewer. Jo our resident traveler that entices us with her many reviews on travel and also products she has tried. There is Meredith who is a great person to know even though I only know her through here she greeted me when I first started here and I enjoy her reviews as well.
Also Buggheart whose reviews are to the point and she has a personality that shines through in every review she writes. She is a down to earth witty writer than tells her opinion in a humorous and intelligent fashion. Her review on a chocolate and mint bubble bath product had me craving a girl scout thin mint and at the same time reeling at the thought of pouring a brown liquid in my bath water.
Each one of these has impressed me in different ways and opened my eyes to the many products they have written about. They have all been an inspiration to me here as I have tried to grow and loosen up while writing. Reading their reviews and all the others on here is a good way to learn about products, vacation spots and movies to look out for.
Personalities on Viewpoints
All the people on here have a unique writing style that sets them apart from anyone else, just has a fingerprint makes everyone unique. One writer StartSoldier1 that does a lot of video game reviews is a reviewer that puts a lot of humor but also details into his reviews that just grabs you and holds you all the way through his work. He makes you want to play the game, or avoid it in some cases.
I have gotten to know many people in the past 2 months I have been here and they are all different in their own way. They make you smile, gasp and sometimes outright laugh when you read their reviews. Every person on here has shown me the diversity of different writing styles and the many personalities that I feel makes Viewpoints a Great Site!
The people on Viewpoints are genuine caring people that anyone can relate to and gain useful knowledge about products we all buy and use. They tell their stories with facts, humor and even a little sarcasm here and there. But they make the job of shopping an informative experience thanks to their reviews about those products.
Bottom Line
Viewpoints is the place to go when you need to know how a product performs, it is also the place to be if you love writing and giving your opinions on products. I am happy I found Viewpoints and hope I can be as good as many writers on here. I hope I can help people in their shopping excursions and give them what they need to make informed choices when they spend their hard earned money.
I may not always say things you like, but I will always tell you the honest opinion I have about products. I will try to mix details with some humor so you don't get bored reading my reviews. I am always open to suggestions and I love meeting new people, so in that regard I believe I am in the right place.
