How do I bring sanity to the insane job of getting gifts for almost everyone on the face of the planet? I've learned to listen. To listen to what others are saying about things they liked or disliked. I like it even better when someone takes the time to compile lists. I'm BIG on lists! And perhaps my biggest problem is my "nice" list. That's the one that has a second column to it - the gift column. That column is tough. Suffice it to say that cutting through all the choices in today's world, and filtering out the junk to get to the good stuff is no easy task. Especially when faced with getting the perfect gift for each person on that list. What should I get the health nut? How about the beauty diva? Let's not forget the gadget geek or the globe trotter.

Enter the Viewpoints Holiday Gift Guide.

A handy pocketable reference booklet to the best gifts for all those tough customers on my list (and I bet you have some of the same on your list too!). Frankly, at my age, ideas are welcome, and this is exactly what the Gift Guide is all about - gift ideas for everyone on your gift list. Better yet if my mind is still foggy (which reminds me I'm still looking for Rudolph) on the advice in the Gift Guide, I can always look up the full reviews on viewpoints.com and get the full story.

Getting back to lists, there are a number of lists peppered throughout the Holiday Gift Guide, that distill the essentials into pearls of no brainer quick hits like the Top 10 Family Movies and the Top 10 Electronics Products. I'll let you discover the rest.

If you can get your hands on the printed version (or download and print the PDF), the Holiday Gift Guide easily fits in your pocket or purse. Use a few sticky notes to mark the pages with the best ideas, and then off to the store (or should I say the workshop for me).

Perhaps the best piece of advice, is what to get the impossible to shop for or the ones who have everything - donate to a charity in their name! There's a list near the end of the Holiday Gift Guide that lists 10 worthy charities.

So do yourself a favor this holiday season and reduce your stress, use the Viewpoints Holiday Gift Guide to get a leg up on the rest of the crowds out there and get the perfect gift for that special someone on your holiday gift list.

P.S. Please don't let Mrs. C. find out about this Gift Guide - she thinks I'm sweating it out getting through my lists this Christmas ;-)

I took one of these little books and left it at work. One of my co-workers said she read it, liked it, and wrote down some ideas. Terrific!

I agree with nancylee...that list would be super and handy! Oh, Rudolph is hanging out in Wisconsin...We are at last are going to have a white Christmas this year (with the global warming we haven't seen snow till after Christmas)...He is out playing in the snow with the wild bunnies I feed...I will let him know you are looking for him. Happy Holiday's!

it would be nice to have a prinout to put names and gifts by them with how much they cost. Then it would be awesome, all stop shopping really complete!!!!!!
