This is a very good monitor.  Very good image.  Good speakers (it's monitor speakers, so you can't expect too much).  VGA and DVI inputs.  I only wish it has a USB hub and a mic built-in.  I have it for a year and no complaint.

I bought this monitor for myself on my birthday this year.  I cannot believe the difference in this and the old lunker.  It is easy to use, has a great picture, and can be moved around with little effort.  I got a great deal as it was on sale, but, full price would have been well worth it.

I bought this TV thru my Union and I love it. I've never had a hi-def flat screen. It's beautiful. This picture is clear and I cannot even believe how many odd channels it gets. It wasn't difficult to figure out. Instead of the confusing manual it comes with an instruction DVD. Very awesome.

I come from a family of professional photographers. We only use Viewsonic monitors since they are the most professional and color calibrated to the industry standard. We own 6 View Sonic monitors ranging from 19-22 in and will not buy any other brand. Since we do work out of the studio as well as at home, we need a dependable brand that we can count on. Viewsonic fits the bill. It is easy to set up, as well as easy to calibrate to all the graphic programs we use in designing wedding albums. It plays well with Photoshop and all the other graphuc programs that are recommended by my daughter's graphic desing courses. The 22" widescreen makes it very easy to manipulate thecomplicated programs such as photoshop. You can have all the tool bars open and still have plenty of room on the screen to view your work with no clutter on the actual pictures. Set up was as easy as plug it in, connect it tot he computer and turn it on.

I got the 19" version and ended up returning it for the 22" and what an amazing difference. I can see everything now, and games and movies look excellent. The refresh rate is quick enough to be undetectable, and FPS games look especially smooth. This was my first widescreen format monitor, and I will never go back. I have had this monitor for roughly 4 years now, and I haven't even received 1 stuck pixel. The monitor supports 720p, and as such, 720p movies look amazingly crisp and detailed. I can not comment on the built-in speakers since I have always used external speakers, but I would assume they would be above average because everything else about this monitor is. It is very lightweight and thin, and looks great from both very close and far away. My only qualm is that over the years the power button has gotten more and more difficult to press. However, I am so satisfied with the Viewsonic VX2235wm that I honestly don't see myself needing an upgrade for at least another 5 years, or at least until ultra-wide screen monitors become mainstream. All in all, for now, I have everything I could ever want in a computer monitor. Thank you VX2235wm!

The viewSonic VX2235 22 INCH WIDESCREEN LCD Monitor is grat addition to any techie's computer.  The screen delivers a extremely clear and sharp picture and is easy to read without glasses for an individual the needs a low range reading glasses.  The graphics are beautiful and sharp.  You can't ask for a better monitor or even a screen to watch TV.

I picked up one of these monitors recently and for the money, I think it is a great unit.  nice swivel stand and the picture quality and solid.  I would definitely recommend one of these for people especially using a laptop as a desktop unit.

This Viewsonic monitor is one of the best for the price!The picture sharpness, brightness, and clairty were top notch! The connectors of both VGA and DVI made it really easy to hook up a desktop computer and to hook up my laptop when needed.The adjustment buttons were a bit awkward to use, but the on/off button, if you do use it, was still very convenient. The monitor does auto adjust itself readily.

This monitor is such a step up from the old CRTs of the past.  Text is crisp, graphics are clean and the refresh rate is fantastic.  With the wider screen it is so easy to set up mulitple windows for dragging and dropping as well as being able to read something in one window and write something or comments in another.  I don't have a need for multiple windows all the  time, but this fits the bill.  The price was right and takes up a lot less space on my desktop that 2 or 3 standard sized monitors would.  The only way to go!
