Purchased Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Color Protect Shampoo when it was on sale and I had a coupon so it cost me next to nothing. I am a regular couponer so this was no exception. I always buy shampoo for color treated hair as I do color my hair. I do not really know if it makes a difference using a color treated shampoo but I do choose them anyway. The shampoo is a white creamy texture and has a nice clean scent. A little amount makes a nice sudsing experience and does rinse off clean. Since I have a lot of fine hair using a creamy shampoo is not ideal for my hair but I try them anyway. This shampoo is pretty good as far as not making my hair fall too flat but I cannot say it is my favorite. I do have a couple of bottles so I will use them alternating with others. I probably will not be buying additional bottles in the future even if it is on sale or I have a coupon as this is not a favorite for my type of hair.

Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Color protect shampoo is amazing to use on color treated hair! I was genuinely surprised to find this shampoo at such a low price because after trying it I was very impressed with the results! I dyed my hair a dark red shade back in November (so about 4 months ago) with a permanent hair coloring and as many of you may know, red is one of the hardest colors to maintain when it comes to color treating your hair. I washed my hair with Vidal Sassoon color protect shampoo five days a week after I dyed it and this extended the life of my color to three months even though the package claims to extend it by a much shorter amount of time! I also like how well this shampoo lathered up during washing and how well it cleaned my hair. It smells really good, very fresh and clean and makes my hair smell that way too. This shampoo will not dry out your hair or your scalp! I will definitely be purchasing Vidal Sassoon color protect shampoo again every time after I color my hair!

I dye my hair about once a month, and this shampoo helps pro long it some, but I hate the way it makes my hair feel. It doesn't make my hair feel soft or manageable at all. It actually makes my hair feel dry and super tangly. So other than pro longing my hair color, it does nothing for me.

This Shampoo made my hair really dry and brittle. I have super long hair and ive used various types of shampoos and didnt have much problems with them however I used Vidal Sassoon and it dried my hair out and made my head really itchy. I quit using it and switched to tresemme in which I have not had any problems since. I tried the vidal sasson because it was cheaper than my normal brand but i definitely got what I paid for. It had a nice scent but the scent didnt stick around very long. I would recommend this shampoo to possible use for teenagers or people who dont really care about there hair but I havent had my hair cut in a very long time and I refuse to and I take a lot of pride in my hair so I dont want it feeling tangled or rough and brittle. Also previous shampoos that I have used leave my hair nice and shiny and my hair looked dull and lifeless after using this product, i was very disappointed. I will never buy this brand again nor will i recommend it to any friends or family.

I color my hair at home on a monthly basis. I have tried a range of different shampoos all promoting color protecting benefits. Of all the differing brands that I have experimented with, Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Color Protect Shampoo is one of the best at protecting the life of my hair coloring. I have used this shampoo for the last 3 weeks and my hair still looks freshly colored with almost no noticeable fading. Although the Pro Series Color is not specifically designed to moisturize my hair, I have noticed that my hair feels more hydrated after continual use and smoother to the touch. This is a nice additional benefit. Other benefits include: the shape of the bottle which is easy to hold. The shampoo itself is on the thicker side which makes for a nice thick creamy lather. Also, it should be noted that a little goes a long way as I typically only need to use a quarter size of product to wash my hair. Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Color Protect shampoo is a great value shampoo that is cheaper than Pantene and Tressemme and actually compares favorably. I would say this a good all around shampoo for those that color their hair because it extends the life of your color. I make sure I stock up whenever this on sale or if I have coupons.

I just happened upon this shampoo the other day and used it for the very first time. I only bought it because it was on sale, because I usually don't buy the expensive stuff. Even though I don't color my hair, I figured this shampoo would still be worth the try and I was hoping it would improve the health of my hair. I'm already finding it to be a really nice product and I am enjoying using a better quality product than I'm accustomed to. The performance of the shampoo doesn't seem to be affected, even though my hair is not colored. I am finding it to clean and soften my hair quite well. It lathers well and smells absolutely wonderful. It rinses clear and doesn't leave any oily residue. I like this product enough to go back and see if I can get a few more bottles before the sale ends. I'm not sure though, that I like it enough to spend the money for full price if I miss the sale. I think if you have colored hair, this product would be a benefit to you. It seems to have good moisturizing qualities.

I tried this shampoo because I had coupons, I will never go back to another. This product makes my clean, soft and very shiny all in one. I never have to use an extra product for shine. Effectiveness It does everything it says it will. Scent It has a sort, not overpowering scent that stays all day.
