Don't waste your time or your money!

A friend tried helping me get this thing in my hair and we could not do it. Even tried using smaller amounts of hair. Better off leaving this item on the shelf and your money in your pocket. Tried going online to see if there were any tricks for getting it to work better and only found other poor reviews.

Did you have the flat circle face the back of your head or away from your head? Does that make sense?

I found a way to make it work! Use these directions. 1. Put the hair in a high ponytail and secure it with a small elastic band.
2. Split the ponytail in two (two bunches one on top another).
3. Flip the top section over the head and just leave it there for now.
4. Twist the Fan Tail clockwise over the lower section until most of the hair is caught inside the hooks.
5. Pull the hair through the ring, twist some more to secure the Fan Tail.
6. Now let down the top section around the ring, and secure pieces of hair with the outer hooks.

This product "The Fan Tail" SUCKS!!!!! It will make you want to beat the tar out of someone! If you can even get it to attach to your hair by using the clockwise motion, you had better have a buzzer available to shave you hair off after the darned thing get entangled in it! and the pictures on the package....SHOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This lady needs to be executed for lying on her advertizements!!!!!!! Shes nuts!!!!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who can't use this piece of crap! I thought maybe I was learning impaired or something. Not to mention I got it so tangled in my ponytail (on top of .... whatever the heck that means), I feared I would have to shave my head to get it out. So glad it was only $3, and that was $2.99 too much!

I like the idea of giving it to a child to play power rangers with.

I agree totally the item has now become a piece of junk and my son is using it to play with with his transformers and power rangers.

I AGREE!!!!! I'm so disgusted at wasting 3 bucks on a worthless piece of plastic! I can't even figure out the first step! Maybe I should return it...it's JUNK!
