Victory Hop Devil Ale Reviews

When I feel the need for hops, nothing less than a well- hopped brew will do and, fortunately for me, there are plenty of hoppy beers and over- hopped beers on the market to choose from. One of my many favorites is Victory Hop Devil Ale, a brew that is high on peppery hops.

Beer Commentary:

Victory Hop Devil is copper colored and clear with a nice amount of foam that holds together for a good amount of time as you drink. The nose on this ale combines caramel, citrus, floral, and plum notes and is very enticing.  

This beer offers many great tastes including caramelized malt, pine, citrus, toasted...

* Hazy copper-amber with short tight-knit beige head leaves intricate lacing on the glass

* Toasty-caramelly malt aromas give way to grassy, herbal hop aromas

* Richly malted palate is layered with toast, caramel and hints of citrus fruit.  Hop flavor and bittering merges and melds with malt character

* Finish is lengthy and flavorful.  Great balance of dry malt and tangy hops

* Medium full bodied; plenty of rich mouthfeel to support the full flavor
