Quick View: Quite possibly the most ridiculous bra that Victoria's Secret ever came up with. 100 ways. WHO needs to convert their bra 100 ways???
About Victoria's Secret Very Sexy 100-way strapless convertible bra
This bra is supposed to convert 100 ways - strapless, halter, criss cross in front, racer back, one shoulder, etc. It is a flimsy looking thing with a zillion slits along the bra to insert the straps. There is two page spread in the catalogs showing the 100 positions and BOY are they pushing it. I mean, really. Can you think of more than maybe 10 or 12 positions you could possibly need a bra to be in? Even if you wear really funky clothing, there are just so many possibilities before you run out of ideas.
The problem with the bra is that it runs small, is uncomfortable, is totally confusing, and doesn't give good support. It comes in standard white, nude and black and looks like a $10.00 bra when it costs between $49.50 and $52.50. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of Vic's and a fan of convertible bras but this one is just pushing it way too far. Maybe some people actually have clothing needs that require 100 different styles of bras but, I would think, if you have that many items of clothing, you can afford a decent bra to go under your clothes without having one do the work of 100. And it really doesn't. You will find yourself completely lost trying to criss cross and convert these straps to make them anything but the usual styles.
The bra comes with three sets of straps: regular, halter and a low-back converter strap to wear beneath backless styles. It also comes with "instructions". I don't know about you but, when I wear a bra, I generally don't need a guide as to how to put the thing on. Having said all that, I don't feel the cups are smooth and I think the whole thing is uncomfortable. It also runs small. I am a 36 C and it felt tight and the cups felt small. I didn't grow (sadly) so this must run small unlike most Victoria's Secret Bras.
Crazy is what I call this thing. Victoria's Secret doesn't need to come up with such a silly bra. They have dedicated consumers who love their styles. I doubt this one is one of their better sellers.
My Viewpoint
Maybe I'm just a simple girl who only needs a bra to convert six or seven ways. If I have a top with funky needs, I just wear a strapless bra. That solves the strap problem. This bra isn't comfortable, isn't very supportive, and is maddening. I already lost two sets of straps and gave up. I should return the bra like my sister did but I have to find those straps first. This was disappointing. I give this bra 1 star. Don't bother with it. Buy a convertible that converts in the usual ways and, if you need it to convert 100 ways, you must have SOME wardrobe and can afford better undergarments.
