Victoria's Secret Pencil Skirt with back pleats Review

 I love finding cute skirts to wear to the office and I normally stick to pencil skirts.  This skirt from VS has back pleats and comes in about 5 different colors.  I picked the light grey color.  The waist fitting runs true to size...but its almost as if the back pleats adds to the width of the rest of the skirt.  Its not a full skirt...but its also no pencil skirt either.  It just adds some room to the bottom and floats away from the body.  I dont mind it...its a nice break from the form-fitting-ness of my usually pencil skirts...just something different. It is made out of polyester and spandex...so it does have a bit of stretch and bounce-back when it moves (which could also add to the "a half size too big" look).  I dont recommend going down a size...because the waist fits true to size.
 
There is no matching jacket to purchase with the skirt...but you could also pair up one of a complementary color.  Its a nice office look...but looks better when paired with a more structured top to take away from the flowiness of the back pleats. 

Final thoughts:  like pleats?  Give this skirt a try.
