I normally wear underwire bras but more often than not, they are uncomfortable or the wire ends up poking out here or there. I thought that I had found a great alternative with Victoria's Secret Body By Victoria IPEX Wireless Bra. Unfortunately, I was let down and so were a couple of other things. ;P

My Experience...

This bra is made out of 85% Nylon and 15% Spandex and has a back closure. The material is quite soft and there is just enough padding to provide maximum coverage . I admit that when I first began wearing this bra, I was impressed with how comfortable and lightweight it was. At the time, It seemed to support me well, and I loved that it was seamless. I hand washed, reshaped and let it air dry each time that I washed it as instructed. After about four months of normal wear, I noticed that I had to keep adjusting the straps. For some reason, they would slip and cause the bra to become loose.  In the beginning, it only took an initial adjustment but after awhile, I found it necessary to adjust it a couple times throughout the day. This was becoming very annoying. I also noticed that the shape of the bra was no longer as it was when I first bought it. I would have expected a bra from Victoria's Secret to last much longer based on the price they charge. Thankfully, I had better luck with the Very Sexy Secret Embrace Reversible Flip Bra from Victoria's Secret.

My Final Viewpoint...

The Victoria's Secret Body By Victoria IPEX Wireless Bra turned out to be quite a disappointment especially since I bought it when it was originally priced at $42. It is now on clearance for $19.99 but even with the price reduction, I would not recommend this bra especially to anyone with a larger cup size. I am giving this bra a 2 star rating.

Sinking is not a good thing.

I believe the term for top of the line is the Apex not "Ipex"-perhaps the name alone should have been a subtle warning....I have an issue with Victoria's Secret because they have so many padded options, but for those of us who need no padding, well, there are no options in our size either.

I have found that I have a 50/50 chance of liking a bra at Victoria's Secret. When i did find one that I loved...they discontinued the line and came out with something new that I didn't like. :( I'll skip this one...thanks for the heads up! :)

I can't find one VS bra that suits me--I am "busty" and they just don't feel comfortable. :) Great review to keep me steering clear from wasting my $

I haven't been happy with VS either. I found one of the Body by Victoria's worked for me and then a year later it was "remodeled" so to speak and the straps got skinnier and the cup got weird. Anyway, I have yet to find a descent bra. VS are geared toward no boobs, fake boobs and/or young boobs. I personally believe one the most important factors is in the straps. Your IPEX did exactly what my VS did, after time they lose the support and they start really getting loose and stretchy. My search goes on.... (great review by the way!)

Sorry Mike, with your cup size, this one would never work for you. hehe

I have not been happy with Vic's bras for a while now. Too expensive and nothing special.
