Vicks VapoRub Review

Vicks Vapo rub is the best topical anelgesic solution that I have ever used. My grandmother used it on me as a child, and I swear by with my children. Being a mother of six children I need a medicine that it is inexpensive and that can be used for quick relief of congestion. Some over the counter medicines as well as prescription medicine takes up to 30 minutes to take affect. Anyone who has children knows that when its 3:00 am, you have to be to work in 5 hours, and you have a stuffy six year old on your lap, you don't want to wait 30 minutes to sooth them and get back to bed. I rub a good amount of VIcks on my childs chest, cover it with a cloth or old shirt and within seconds my childs nose begins to clear up and the coughing subsides.

Vicks can also be used for other things. You can use it to sooth achy muscles as well. How great is that? You spend $4.00 and get a cough medicine, nasel decongestant and muscle cream in one jar. With the recession as it is, I am sure I can speak for others when I say we need an expensive medicine that works. Our grandparents, and parents used it, who are we to go against tried and true results.
