Vicks VapoRub Review

I love this stuff!!  It's great.  OK it may smell a bit but if it does the job who cares!!

Our son was constantly sick as in infant, always clogged up.  Since he was a baby there wasn't much that you could give him that was safe.  Trying to get him unclogged was quite a task too!  This stuff worked like a breeze!!!! 

OK you're saying to yourself VICKS on a baby, isn't that strong for him?  Well no...not if you do it this way as recommended by my pediatrician & my grandmother!!  Yes my pediatrician did recommend doing this, it was not just another homemade remedy.

This is what you do.  Get a tissue & rub a small amount of VICKS in it.  Now fold the tissue in quarters making a small square.  Put this tissue under their clothes (under a onesie works great) or you may have to safety pin it on pinning it on the underside of the clothing. 

Folding it up in the tissue still gives you the "vapor action" but you know it's safe for baby since it's not directly on their skin.  Works like a charm!! 

I always thank my pediatrician for this quick & safe medical tip as it got our son over many colds where he was congested & did not need OTC or prescription medicines which can make you become resilliant to them down the road.
