I have used Nyquil when I have a cold since the 70's.  Nyquil always allows me to get a good night's sleep, and it quiets all the symptoms of a cold.  The Nyquil gel caps do NOT work as well as the original liquid.  The gel caps do nothing for me and don't take care of my symptoms or put me to sleep.  I always have some on hand in the winter to take care of unexpected cold symptoms.  I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.
