I love these plug ins. I have been using them every time my daughters get sick for the past few years. The vicks smell can get a little strong in a smaller room, but I like the smell and my daughters have never seemed to mind. In fact, these seem to help them sleep all through the night when they are sick. I use them for myself too and I wake up feeling better. They last a while and the price is great too.

My seven month old baby came down with RSV and after recovering from the serious wheezing and difficulty breathing with a nebulizer, he was left with a hacking cough and lots of congestion for a week and a half.  Our doctor told us we could not use any medicine to help him with his congestion, so this left him up all night, me up all night, and both of us exhausted.  My doctor even discouraged the use of a humidifier because they can cause mold and other bad things.  So I talked to the pharmacist when I was shopping, and she said to try a vaporizer.  I bought this small vaporizer which you plug into a wall, and you insert a little cartridge which emits the vicks vapors.  I actually had a stuffy nose myself, and as soon as I walked into his room, it literally cleared up!  I was so impressed!  It really works.  My baby also slept really well through the night.  The only thing I did not like was the bright night-light.  There is no way to turn it off, and it is really bright.  Other than that, it is a keeper!

My one year old daughter recently went through a long and stressful weekend of being sick with a croup cough.  We puchased the Vicks Baby Rub along wih the Vicks plug in juvenile vaporizer for baby that togenther just worked wonders.  Its great that Vicks has such a line for designed specifically for chidren - this unit plugs into the wall and the scent is not overpowering.  They even make replacement scent pads in the childrens version so you dont have to have to stronger (a least to my nose) adults version around the tiny ones.  Having the soft glow of the nightlight also helps when Im franticly checking on the little one whenever she stirs in the night.  This is definatly a product I recommed to my friends and relatives that have a little on in the house - jut remember to change out he pads since they are designed t work for a few days a max then need to be replaced with a fresh one or it could be a potenital fre hazard like all plug in scent things can be when they run dry.
