Overall, this product does what it says. Output Volume It puts out a low hum and works well as white noise. Performance I use it when my kids are sick and it seems to ease their congestion. I just turn it on and it runs until I turn it off. The little blue light lights up so I know it's working and I let it run for 10-12 hours overnight. Ease of Cleaning So, cleaning isn't too bad. Like anything that runs water through it, it needs to be cleaned. I do it in the bathtub, so that no water spills on the floor. If it doesn't get cleaned I can imagine that water stains, mildew, and other gross build up would end up all over it. I rinse it all out as soon as I'm done using it (usually once the kids colds are done) and then dry it the best I can. I let it dry over night in the bathtub before I shelf it again. The instruction manuel says to run vinegar through it, but I have not felt the need to do this yet and I have had this unit for four years. I have had to replace the filter and bulb and the items can be found on amazon. Durability I am very happy with how long this unit has lasted and still looks and works like it just came out of the box. Again, I only use this when the kids are sick, so not everyday use. It works well for what I need. Design The design is nice looking, but it's a little heavy. It's nothing that would keep me from buying another if mine was to break. I would suggest placing it where you want it and then placing the canisters filled with water once it's where you want it. To be safe, I place a towel under it just in case water drips or should it leak. I will say this has NEVER happened to me, but better safe than sorry.

Over all I would say that this humidifier is a good buy. While shopping we picked this one because it was in the middle price range and had good reviews. We bought it at a store with a 20% off coupon which helped to seal the deal. We have now been using it for 2 years without any hiccups. I really like the 2 separate chambers for water storage. It makes it easy to add water without turning the machine off. It runs pretty quiet, but does make a bit of a hissing noise for the first 2 minutes after you turn it on. Output Volume We got this machine to work our living, dining, and kitchen areas combined. While it did an OK job, I would have liked it to kick out even more moisture in the really dry months. Performance It works well with little maintenance. I am very pleased with this aspect. Ease of Cleaning This is the only real downfall for me. We have hard water, so a film of scum is in the water canisters, and the only way to get it out is to scrub, which you cant do because it is unreachable. Also, you have to use vinegar to clean the heating element at least twice a month or there will be a mineral buildup that will ultimately plug the machine and keep it from working at all. This is not so hard to do, but it is a hassle. Durability Like i said before, we have been using it for 2 years with good results. Design I only give this a seven because you cant clean the water canisters very well.

Bought this when my baby was born during the winter. The baby's crib was in our bedroom. Due to space constraints, we had placed the humidifier closer to the crib. She was always comfortable and never had a congested nose. And it was efficient enough that we could feel the humidifier working from our end of the room, too. It also helped us when we woke up in the morning and didn't have the dry-nose effect that we normally got during the winter when the heater was on. It was also easy to use. We usually filled up the 2 tanks to the full every other night. The humidity level can also be adjusted to your preference. We really liked it. A good purchase.

I bought this humidifier to use to add some moisture into this dry air.I also found my house plants growing really well with it .It is a good humidifier.It does the job and it last.It does have a light in it, that some times becomes annoying at night.But is does make a good night light.I have also used this humidifier when my daughter was sick. Output Volume I thought the output was very good.It does put out a lot of moisture in the air. Performance It works very well and does a great job. Ease of Cleaning It is very easy to clean and to fill. Durability It seems to be very durable.The plastic material is very sturdy. Design I think the design is good.It is small enough not use up a lot of space.

Overall, we really like this humidifier. It was a great step up from our previous Vicks 1.5 Gallon Vaporizer. This is slightly large, so you need a big place to put it, but it works excellently, and it is simple to refill and to clean. We like the light white noise it makes to heat the water, but we had to cover up the light that comes on while it is working. Output Volume The amount of water it lets out is great! I had to use this pretty much most nights while pregnant, and it was perfect! I was so grateful for that extra moisture! Performance This ran solidly for about the last 5 months of my pregnancy, as we used it most nights during that period. We still have it, and it works great, just as when we first started using it! We really like the consistent water output! Ease of Cleaning The two side water compartments come out easily for cleaning, and the filter can easily be changed (or cleaned in between replacements with various gentle cleansers). Durability This is very sturdy plastic! Design It's very nice looking--just a little big overall!

We recently purchased this for my son's room and really like it. The sound is pleasant, and the 2 tanks make it easy to refill without having to turn off the unit. The only negative is that the blue UV light is very bright. It acts as a night light in our child's room, but may be irritating to others. A piece of electrical tape over the light may help block it out.
