My boyfriend and I recently moved into a new apartment, and I started feeling bad soonafter. I think that the air in our apartment is really dry and stuffy, and nothing I did seemed to help! I received a Vicks Cool Mist Humidifier as a gift for my child and have been very pleased with the results after using it when needed for about six months. With this humidifier, you will need to purchase the Vick's liquid medicine to add to the water when you fill the humidifier up each time. I found that for my 20 month old child, the recommended dose on the bottle of Vick's seemed a little bit too strong, so I use about half of the recommended dose each time.
