Most women need extra calcium, especially those that are middle aged and facing the loss of bone as they enter their senior years.  Viactive Calcium Soft Chews is a product designed to deliver calcium in a soft chew formula that is also flavored and not like the traditional pill formula of a vitamin.  This makes taking the calcium supplement a bit more fun and also helps you to remember to take it, since it has a nice flavor.

Each square contains 100% of the recommended daily requirement.  The chews are small and easy to chew and packed with flavor. They come in chocolate, caramel, chocolate mint and raspberry.  The chews contain both Vitamins D and K and each chew is individually wrapped.

Each chew contains 20 calories of which 5 calories are from fat.

Ingredients:

Corn Syrup, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Calcium Carbonate, Sugar, Chocolate, Nonfat Milk, Cocoa Butter, Artificial Flavors, Salt, Soy Lecithin, Glyceryl Monostearate, Natural Flavor, Carrageenan, Sodium Phosphate, Vitamin D3, Vitamin K1.

My Thoughts

I really like the convenience factor of eating Viactive Calcium Soft Chews.  They taste good and are an excellent way to get the calcium needed into your body.  My favorite flavors are the milk chocolate and mint chocolate.

One recommendation that I have is to store in a cool place.  I left some in my car and they melted.

Overall, a great vitamin source produced in a way that is fun to take with a great taste.

I love these too. I didn't know they had so much sugar in them. Really thro, it cann't be that much. They are so little. Yum!

They are a bit on the expensive side. They come 90 chews to a box for around $11.50 or 60 per box for $9.99. The larger box will last 3 months if you chew one per day and averages $4 a month--not too bad when you break it down!
