Viactiv Calcium Chews —

This past week, as I was healing from abdominal surgery and a bad back, I saw in the crystal ball what my life would be like as a 90 year old hunchback. And, let me tell you-- I dont like it one bit!

As if that werent enough, doctors constantly tell me to be mindful about my calcium intake because, as a petite woman with a very small frame, I am more prone to weak bones than others. While I dont know if it is totally true, it is enough to make me more conscious of my calcium intake. And, add a weak back and a bum belly and I am all over CALCIUM.

That's why I turn to Viactiv. First, let me say that I hate taking vitamins. I especially dislike the ones that ask you to take like 10 per day (to get a complete dosage) AND they are horse pills. Blah! No thank you.

But Viactiv... that is my kind of vitamin. It is the closest thing I can find to gummy bear vitamins for adults! While I am not a sweet tooth, I love caramel, and Vicativ sells caramel calcium chews. Yum! I can get my daily intake of calcium in one little candy. Now, that is sweet in my book!

Viactiv can be purchased nearly anywhere. They are completely mainstream (unlike other calcium pills I have favored in the past) but a little pricey. Oh, and dont get the generic version. I did that once since the caramel Vicativ was out of stock and it definitely felt more medicinal.

Yes, I eat these as well. You sound a lot like me...small frame and into pilates. I have minimal osteoporosis, but it's managed with diet. Thanks for your review.

I was going to write a review on these. They are great and I actually like eating them. I need more and this reminded me to get some. Hunchbacks scare the heck out of me and my mother had osteoporosis. She broke her leg and fell off her crutches and broke her arm. That was a BAD time for her. I don't want soft bones like that!
