Veuve Clicquot is one my favorite champagne makers. I first had the champagne a few years ago and since I have no desire to drink other champagne. In fact, on a few occassions, I had the option of the $50 Veuve bottle and the $120+ Dom bottle and I took the Veuve every time!

Veuve makes a series of different labels- yellow, orange-- and some are slightly sweeter than others. While I personally tend toward the sweet, I am never disappointed by any of their champagnes. They simply nail it every time. They have a beliver in me.

Veuve Clicquot is full body with crisp and consistent quality. According to the description, it is a classic dry champagne made from a blend of two-thirds black grapes (Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier) for body, balanced with one-third Chardonnay for elegance.

You are sure to not be disappointed by the Veuve. It is a champagne classic that will never disappoint. Wine News and Wine & Spirits both rate it over 90.
