Vermont Casting Uniflame Square Charcoal Grill Review

The Uniflame Square Charcoal Grill is an Excellent little grill for occational BBQing. Some of the Features of this great little grill include; 295" sq. cooking surface, Black porcelain hinged top lid, Black baked-enamel bottom bowl, Porcelain enamel cooking grid, Zinc-plated charcoal grid, Air vents on lid and bowl, Silver powder-coated tubular legs, and bottom wire mesh, One Bakelight handle, 32.5" H x 18.75" L x 21.5" W.

I bought this grill for $5 at Walmart. I actually got 2 of them and gave one away as a present. Let me tell you, did I ever make a great deal. This little grill is great.  It isnt a big grill. But large enough to hold about 10-12 good sized hamburger patties. What is really nice is the assembly. It could not be easier. The instructions are clear and large. The nuts and screws come in a blister pack and are seperated by letter. The blister pack even comes with a little wrench and screwdriver so you need no other tools. When the instructions ask for screws that are part "A" then you simply pop them out of the blister pack marked "A". Easy. Also, there are really only five steps listed in assembling the grill so it does not take long.The grill makes use of wing nuts which are easy to put on and tighten.
A couple of points:

The height of the grilling surface is not adjustable. However the preset height is good. Not too close or too far away from the flame. Also, there is no hole or opening in the bottom to push out the ashes. You pretty much have to dump or scoop the ashes. You could always line it with foil and just lift out the foil to get the ashes.

Even for the $25 it usually retails it is a great bargin.
