Verizon Wireless is not terrible. I think that they could be better but than so could everyone else out there. There product is reliable and is at an ok price. The website could be more user friendly. Prices could always be lower. Shorter wait lines would also be a great plus when you need to go talk to someone in person.
I recently went in and had my software upgraded on my phone. This was annoying because I didnt even know that it could or did need to be done. I happened accross an article about my phone on the internet that said to take it in for the upgrade. Once I took it in they told me that it would take 1 hour for it to work. 2 hours later it was ready. i than asked the Techniction to show me how to use the mp3 player now that the upgrade was completed and he proceeded to show me. He could'nt figure it though. He looked at me and told me he did'nt know why it did'nt work and did'nt know what to tell me to do. I was'nt very happy that the professionals basically told me good luck.
I went home and got on the internet and found step by step instructions on how to fix the problem. If the Verizon Wireless employee had wanted to help me, I believe that he could have with just a bit of looking in his database or something.
Moral to this story....Customer Service is not what it used to be but you could still do a lot worse somewhere else.
