Verizon service is ofcourse one of the best. Yet, my experience with it is little unhappy. I am using Motorola Razr Vi with Verizon service. I am using it since last 4-5 months but i didnt find anything attractive that I cannot get with T-mobile or Cingular since I have use it all. I was expecting better results with verizon service to get network in subway or in basement, however, it disappointed me. I was very pleased with the VCAST service that they offer. My suggestion would be that if you are show off person than go with that but if u want to go with cheaper and in-budget every month, then this might not be the first option.
