Pros

can get a new phone every 2 years, great in emergencies, Nationwide coverage

Cons

Long term contracts, More expensive for data service, Customer service is horrific, no carry over minutes

Just go into a Verizon Store and see for yourself how bad the service is. Every store I have been in...is the same. I have called Verizon on many occasions to complain, with no concern on anyones part. Verizon must teach their employees how to be rude, hide any better suited plans from you, and make you feel like you have invaded thier territory. I have seen countless elderly, as well as yuppies taken advantage of, everytime I have Had to visit. You would think they were educated by the talaban. I can't wait until my handcuffed policy is expired.
