Verizon has us sucked in with their ever increasing duration of service warranty with heavy duty penalties for cancelling early. They always refuse to honor phone warranties. They claim that every phone damaged is water damage, no matter how preposterous this allegation may be. Customer "service" is the opposite. All they do is try to wiggle out of any service at all. Their website has mysterious user names. We have never been able to log on.
For a long time, we could guess at our phone bill because they claimed we could get it online, only we could never get our account brought up. We were on the cell phone for hours trying to get it set up. We gave up and demanded paper bills.
They are hopeless clutzes with evil intent. Everytime we need to change our number of minutes after getting gigantic phone bills for going over minutes, they extend the contract another year or more.
We are stuck.
