Out where I live there isn't DSL available. We were on dial up but was tired of the slowness. I bought a laptop and figured I'd get broadband from Verizon since we have our phones there too. The price kinda shocked me and the 2 year contract was worse. It works great in the city or anywhere you have atleast 3 bars. Where I live I'm lucky to get one bar. On a good day I get spotty 2 bars. The signal constantly goes in and out between just a flashy dot and one bar. While I don't have great signal at my house it is faster than dial up still. I can't watch any videos because signal isn't great out here. I have my internet on constantly and have never went over my 5GB limit a month. I take my computer with me to town if I want to download music because out here it takes forever.
