Verizon —

Verizon highspeed  should not be called high-speed. It is better than dial-up though. If you get the quoted price read the fine print. Although it was not in the fine print when I got Verizon. To get the quoted price you have to have Verizon phone service and keep the same phone service the whole time you have their high-speed. I was told that the $24.99 would never go up for as long as I had the Verizon high-speed. I switched my phone company and they started charging a lot more for my high-speed. When I asked about the increase they said it was because I was not using Verizon phone service anymore. I checked my contract that I signed and there was nothing in it about having to have a Verizon phone line to get the $24.99 price. They would not work with me on the price. A day or so after my questioning them about were it said I had to have a Verizon phone line, they made changes to the user agreement on their website. I would like to get rid of Verizon high-speed but they have a monopoly in my area. Other companies  can not offer there service were Verizon is available. I am stuck with the slow high-speed. Watch out !!
