Vera Wang by Serta Sweet Comfort Mattress Reviews

We recently bought the Sweet Comfort Mattress made for Vera Wang by Serta. The model number is VW00545. We did this after I researched what foam (Tempur-Pedic, for example) is made from (petroleum) and decided that a latex mattress was more natural. It's made from rubber trees.

We had tried out so many mattresses that we thought we were comfortable with a purchase of a mattress selling at retail of $3999 and with discounts $1999.

The Serta Vera Wang Sequins mattress is appalling.  I bought it because they said it was made of Talalay latex, which is the best quality material there is.  They did tell me that there was a layer of fire-retardant material on top of the latex, which I wanted to remove so I could sleep directly on top of the natural rubber.  Today I actually cut open the mattress and discovered that the mattress is made with many layers of artificial foam and one 3/8" layer of latex, which is practically nothing.  To advertise it as Latex seems illegal or at least incredibly deceptive.  How many people would...

A good matress at a good price. Worth every penny

The serta Vera Wang matress is like no other mattress I've ever slept on. It contours to the shape of my body and takes all of the pressure off my back and joints. I've had problems with sciatica for years and then I got this mattress and except for a couple of flare ups I live virtually pain free. I've never slept better in my life. I love getting into my bed and letting it absorb me. I feel so safe and protected. It's like being hugged by angels.

One of the only downfalls of this mattress is you have to spin it often and switch were you sleep on the bed or else you have a dent which is no big...

I hate it when a bed is to soft, It makes me feel like Im getting swallowed by it and then you have to fight to it of bed! This mattress is the prefict soft  be for me its not to soft but still the most comfortable mattress I ever had!

My husband and I purchased the Vera Wang Serta mattress last year in August and for the first 2 months it was nice.  It has quickly gone down hill from there.  I have had lower back pain problems in the past and now I also have middle back problems. It slopes and sags to my hips and it also is sagging to the middle. The edges of the bed are so firm I feel like I am sleeping in a box. 

Last night  I put a blanket under my waist/hips to get them back up and supported, it did seem to help. I have also started using a pillow propped up beside me to keep me from rolling to the center....

One and a half years after buying the Vera Wang Sweet Touch by Serta, which should be renamed the Vera Wang Will Disintegrate With One Touch by Serta, we are very dissatisfied.  The mattress no longer supports any weight in its center and after going to Sleepys 4 times today and calling their customer service at least the same amt of time, I'm never doing business with Serta or Sleepys again.  Let me tell you why ... Serta and Sleepys are saying that because the product doesn't visually sag we will not send someone out to inspect it eventhough we offered you a 30 year warranty with the product. ...
