My Venus razor leaves my legs so smooth, and is SO gentle!

I absolutely love the Venus razor. From the curved, padded, ergonomic handle to the pivoting head, everything about it makes shaving less of a chore -- and leaves my legs so smooth and without razor burn. I have yet to get any scrapes or bumps with this, even in "sensitive" places. OK, first, the handle. Like I said, it's all curvy. And it's got nice "padding" on it that makes it more comfy to hold, plus keeps it from being slippery in the shower. I have some problems with my hands, so this is fantastic for me. The head of the Venus razor pivots, so when you go around curves -- say, over the knees! -- the razors follows the contours and you're much less likely to slice off things other than hair. Ouch! The razor blade contraption thingy itself (what is that called??) has a strip above the three blades that, once you get it wet, puts a nice bit of slippery stuff down to ease the blades over your skin. And it doesn''t all get used up the very first time you use the razor! Neither do the blades go dull after just one or two shaves -- which is good, because they're a bit pricey; around $9 for 4 in my neck of the woods. But since you can use them a few more times than a use-and-toss razor, it averages out about the same. I usually end up using a blade cartridge (hey! is that what they're called?) 3 or 4 times before I replace it. Love my Venus!
