Venus Embrace Razor Review

Venus razors have been around for quite a while...can you believe this is my first time ever purchasing one?  Seriously... I just was never sure if there was a reason to buy a razor that cost more than a few bucks.

Turns out, there is!  This razor is rocking my shaving world.  The 5 blades, which at first I thought might be excessive... are awesome!  It is really the first time I have felt what I would consider an almost frictionless shave.

The refills are expensive... around 13 bucks for 4, but the good news is... the blade lasts so long.  Seriously, I got by for maybe a little over a month on just one (although, I do not shave every single day or anything...sometimes going a few days between shaves for everything but my pits, so your experience may vary).

The downside is, unlike razors with less blades, I found it less obvious when it was becoming duller and needed replacing until I started getting some ingrowns from raggedy cut hairs from the dull blades.  I'll probably replace the blades sooner this time.
