Once in a while we splurge and get Velveeta Mac and cheese and we love it. It has a little richer flavor than the others and is a great way to compliment any main course.

Velveeta Mac and Cheese

I like how creamy the cheese sauce is when it comes from the pouch, it is much softer than most other brands and is easy to get out. It reminds me of regular Velveeta and I have always enjoyed the taste of it. We love putting bacon bits in this Velveeta mac and cheese as it blends in very good and just boosts the flavor so much.

Of all the brands of mac and cheese we use this ranks up as one of the best there is. It is so easy to prepare and mixing in the cheese is so much easier than the others. This is also my favorite should there be any leftovers (doesn't happen often..lol) as I can reheat it very easy without it getting all hard and nasty like some of the others we use. The rich taste is perfect with fish and I like adding tuna to this one as it makes a complete meal and doesn't leave you disappointed in it.

Bottom Line

Our family loves mac and cheese and this is the favorite of all we have tried and used. Being on a budget means this is a treat for us and I like to get it at least once a month or more when I can. Velveeta has done an outstanding job on this mac and cheese and I recommend it to any mac and cheese lover as this one will make your taste buds sing!

I love any fish, my cardiologist said the cold water fish are better for you and that works because I love cod, salmon and will eat it every day if I could. Cold water fish have more Omega 3 oils in them. ;)

I agree...we love this mac and cheese too. The only complaint I have is that I wish they used the elbow macaroni instead of the shell macaroni. The shell macaroni seems a little too bulky for macaroni and cheese...it should be elbow!!!! Other than that....yumm...
Oh....we also love mac and cheese with any kind of fish (especially talapia)

makes a mean grilled cheese sandwich too. This is one product that has gone down in price over the years....used to be $8 for a brick...so happy and so melty good
