IN THE SUMMER WHEN THE ANTS INVADE YOUR HUMMIN BIRD FEEDERS, COVER THE HOOKS WITH VASELINE AND IT WILL KEEP THEM OUT OF IT. THEY CANT CLIMB THROUGH IT TO THE FEEDERS. AND SOME ANTS CAN KILL A HUMMIN BIRD.  IT ALSO WORKS WELL WHEN YOU ARE CLEANING GUNS .  IF YOUR GUN GETS WET,DRY IT OFF THE BEST YOU CAN.  THEN RUB IN THE VASELINE AND LET IT SET FOR A WHILE THEN WIPE IT CLEAN.
