I absolutely love Vaseline Smoothing Body Butter with Cocoa and Shea Butter! I am a little obsess with lotions and body creams and this is definitely one of my favorites. I tend to have dry elbows and dry heels, so I love to use this body butter for those areas of my body the most. I was very satisfied with how well it keeps both of those areas of my body moisturized. The thickness of it is probably one of my favorite things about this body butter because it makes it feel like it works better and I do not have to worry about the greasy film afterwards that some watery lotions leave. I would recommend this body butter to anyone who has dry skin because it really does work! Scent While it is not my favorite scent in the world, the cocoa butter and shea butter scent smells pretty good. It is not too stout so it is very tolerable for me. Absorption This body butter absorbs really good! It is thick, not greasy, and rubs into your skin really well. Effectiveness I have no complaints about this body butter. It really does help with my dry elbows and dry heels!

Vaseline Smoothing Body Butter with Cocoa & Shae is soft & nice. It is a very rich, soft cream that smells great. It kind of feels like it is whipped which makes it easy to apply. It is absorbed quickly and easily into my skin. And it leaves my skin very silky and smooth. I bought this when it was on sale because I liked the smell. It is a scent that is not too powerful or overwhelming. It's a light scent that doesn't take over the room. When I use this cream, you can't smell it when I enter a room. It is a good every-day lotion and is not very expensive. Personally, I prefer a lotion in a bottle (that pours out or is dispensed through a pump. A cream or lotion in a "tub" like this requires that you put your hands or fingers into the product to dispense it. That kind of "contaminates" what's left in the tub. If they made this product in a bottle or jar with a pump or other way to dispense it, I would give this a rating of 9. But I'm dropping one point because I don't like to put my hands in it.

The cup that this comes in is awesome. It's so compact that I can store it in my purse or in my car or wherever I am going. I even like to put these in my gym locker because they are so small and don't take up a lot of space. The lid can be hard to unscrew and screw back on after using the product though but it's a minor inconvenience. The smell is amazing on this. It has a very natural cocoa butter smell. I love that they combine my two favorite butters, cocoa and shea, into one product. Both of them leave my skin feeling so soft and supple. The butter is pretty smooth and creamy and not hard at all in this cup. It isn't difficult to get out which I love. Some products pack it too tight but this one isn't one of them. I can get out a perfect amount of product every time and it absorbs perfectly into my skin. I love this for my heels, knees, and elbows especially but I put it all over like a body butter should be used . My skin smells subtle and softly of the butter and my man loves the scent. He will even let me use it on his hard working hands and feet! Scent Has a great smell combining the cocoa and shea butter. It smells more of the cocoa butter but overall amazing. Absorption It absorbs quickly and I don't have to work hard to layer it on where it's needed. Effectiveness This always leaves me feeling soft and silky.

I love this body butter for so many different reasons. The smell is incredibly; slightly sweet and chocolaty. The texture is thick, which lends to the super moisturizing quality of this product. With one use, any dry, flaky patches of skin on my body go away instantaneously. Surprisingly, this product also absorbs pretty quickly for a body butter. It around 10 minutes for this product to absorb on me. Still, I find that I don't have a problem putting my clothes on immediately after applying it. For some reason, this product stays on the skin and doesn't transfer. I love to use this product after I shave. I find that it protects the open pores on my skin from getting irritated, while also being incredibly moisturizing. If you're in a pinch, you can also use a very, very thin layer of this product as a shaving lubricant. I know it sounds crazy, but it does work if you're out of shaving gel.

I have seriously dry skin on my hands that comes and goes. Sometimes its really bad where I'm bleeding, peeling and in a lot of pain and other times its much better and almost seems perfectly healthy and normal. I use the shea butter cream to help soothe and heal my skin when it gets really bad. This isn't a permanent cure by any means but it does give quick relief from the stinging and burning pain. I look at it more as a temporary relief than an actual cure but since it's all natural I know it won't give me any serious side-effects so I feel comfortable using it regularly. Scent The scent is medium-strong, but since I like the smell of shea butter I enjoy having it around! Absorption It doesn't absorb super fast or 100% so I wear gloves so I don't get everything around me greasy. I leave it on at night and wipe it off in the morning. Effectiveness It really does make my hands feel better and it is quite soothing and seems to make my hands less dry the day after I wear it.

This product has a very strong, sweet scent that lingers on your body after applying for up to eight hours. It is a little bit too sweet for me, but I can imagine people really loving the scent. To me, it smells almost like cupcake frosting and chocolate. Since it has the cacao and shea butter it is very moisturizing and very soothing to your skin. It takes a little bit of time for it to absorb in your skin, but I've had no problems with the feeling greasy. It is also a very big tub for the cheap price, so you don't need to worry about running out of body butter for a long time. A little bit of this body butter really goes along way. The best way to use this cream is to put some between your fingers , and massage it into your skin, rubbing it in circles for at least five minutes. This product is very affective, and I can even imagine it lightening my scars. I would recommend this to anyone who has dry and sensitive skin since my skin is pretty sensitive and this has not made me break out.
