In the post 911 era a global summit on terrorism is being held in Spain. On the very day the US pres is to appear security detail receives a threat to his safety forcing the secret servie to send in a decoy instead. International terrorists take the bait and begin a shooting scenario yet ultimately capturing the pres and holding him hostage in an ambulance. On the very same day a secret service agent is re-assuming his post of guarding the pres. It is thru his eyes that much of the story is seen as he scans the crowd and then uncovers a traitor spy within the ranks.Much of the action takes place when the movie delves repeatedly into eyewitness perspectives and the camera follows each of them 8 times for their own personal account of choas. As such its rather repetitive and redundant with each cam cord sweep yet here is where the action of the movie is.A little girl and her treasured ice creme cone,a fat man and a cell phone,a bell hop wired with grnades, ambulance drivers,an hysterical network TV crew ,etc all have a story to tell thru the camera scans. Its a scene that can happen any day in real time and also recalls the JFK in Dallas tragedy of the 60's.
