Vantage Point —
Vantage Point is an entertaining movie -- if you don't want to think. However, the makers of Vantage Point are urging you to think about everything in this political action thriller. I thought the beginning and ending were good, especially the final 30 minutes. However, the middle (which repeats itself 30 times from six different perspectives) is where the movie bogs down. The story is told repeatedly and there are small details that the audience is supposed to hook onto, however, there are flaws in many places and the story-telling turns slightly unbelieveable. The basic movie is good and sound, but the details is where this movie lost me. Three stars.
