Obviously just recently remodeled. The windows however, are still the old aluminum ones and kept coming out of the track. The outside is still in need of some updating and the parking situation was not the best. But overall as far as staff and the room it was great. The room had a frig and microwave, which is a big plus for us. The room was very nicely decorated and the bed and pillows were very comforable. Everything in the bathroom was new and bright. Not alot of space for toiletries, but was workable. The room was very clean! Although we didn't use the pool, it was also very clean. We…

We foung the Vagabond Point Loma very comfortable, clean and the rooms and bathrooms were remodeled in the last year. The staff were so helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. We loved that the motel is so close to the water...the sportfishing docks are directly behind. Fun to watch the boats and fishermen come in with their catches. The rooms are somewhat small, but with the nice weather we used the deck area around the pool to visit with friends. We were nice and close to the Marine Corp Recruit Depot which was the reason for our visit, plus lots of other tourist destinations…

The Vagabond Inn at Point Loma in San Diego was quiet and in a nice neighborhood, close to the boats in the bay, and about two blocks from the pier. It was comfortable enough for a family of four, but didn't have much space for luggage. Bathroom was very clean and bright, and the shower had been redone, but the sink was inside of the bathroom, not separate so someone could use it while someone else was in the shower, and there was no vanity. Our key didn't work the second night because it was only set for one night somehow. The staff was helpful and friendly. Nice continental breakfast. …

This Vagabond Inn was perfect for the mini vacation I had planned! Close to Humphrey's By The Bay, where the concert I was planning to attend was. Overlooking the harbor, sort of, and close to a VERY tasty seafood shack, it met all my needs. The desk staff at both check-in and check out were VERY NICE ( give those ladies a raise!) and I was delighted to find excellent coffee both in the room and in the lobby, along with muffins, fruit and juice for breakfast. The pool was clean and well kept. The room was clean and well stocked. The microwave and fridge were a bonus. I would stay there…

The Vagabond hotel was ok. The room was kind of small but good enough to sleep in and rest. It was clean inside the room. The pool was nice. The three things I didn't like were (1) The bathroom window didn't close completely so we heard people talking all night long. (2) The parking lot was too small. SUV's had to park really close to each other. There was no space to open doors. (3) The free continental breakfast was horrible. Rotton fruit and coffee! No pasturies or fresh fruit.Recreational Attactions: Short Walk, Fishing boats in the marina. —…

The hotel is in walking distance of the harbor with good seafood restaurants, sport fishing charters, and etc. Staff was nice. Rooms had every thing you need frigid, coffee, iron. Only complaint is the rooms smelled really musty. It was a real bummer especially when you first walk in.Recreational Attactions: Short Walk, the seafood place just behind is great! —…

Minutes away from Sea World and the beaches, with the marina a stones throw away. I would stay here again and again!Recreational Attactions: Short Drive, The seafood restaurant next door was terrific! I enjoyed the fish and chips. —…
