My older son has all the game systems, i.e. Xbox 360, PS2, etc.  My 3 year old couldn't play those games, no matter how hard she tried.  It was too hard, not age appropriate and frustrating for her.  Imagine my surprise when I came across the Vsmile Learning System by Vtech!!

Perfect for her age!  Big joysticks w/ extra big buttons that are perfect for Toddler hands!  Games are easy to maneuver through and Dora never dies!  There is no "Game Over" unless she wants it to be.  All her favorite characters have games, such as Dora, Barney, ELmo, The Wiggles and Little Mermaid.

I didn't pay attention to the box when I bought it, well when Santa bought it and soon learned that we had to buy extra accessories for it.  It only comes with one joystick and the system that plugs directly into the red/white/yellow in your t.v.    Well, we put a brand new set of batteries in it and they only lasted about 2 hours.  The system wore them down quick!  Also, 3 year olds are infamous for playing with something, leaving it on and walking away.

A quick trip to Toys R Us and $30 later, I have an extra joystick and an A/C Adapter.   About a month into owning this system, it started to give us problems.  Many times, we had to remove the game and try to restart it.  We also had to unplug it and start over many times.

In the end, it ended up being too big of a hassle.  It was no longer easy for my daughter to switch games or even start her game without the help of an adult.  Frustration on my part, since it worked well in the beginning and went downhill, fast.

$65 for a system that only worked well for a month.  Was supposed to be durable enough for little ones, but in my opinion wasn't.
