My daughter received this tablet for Christmas. I was excited for her to try it out, it looked really cool! Unfortunately it didn't really live up to my expectations. First off even though I set the date and time the first time I set it up, every time my daughter turned it on it would as here to set the date and time again. Yeah, because that's something a 3 year old can do. So that was a pain. Next, the camera was a big draw. Unfortunately it doesn't work very well. The pictures all come out dark and I can barely tell who is in them. This is also very slow. Now I understand it's not going to be quite as fast as my much more expensive ipad but I still expected something better. This takes a really long time to change screens after you select an option. So long that my daughter begins to lose interest. This was a flop for us. I suppose it's possible that I just got a bad one but it's defiantly not working like it should.

I bought this for my 3 year old's birthday and I thought it was just ok. I like the fact that It is sturdy and can take pictures but it takes forever to load when your switching games. Also you have to buy the rechargeable batteries if you want it to stay charged. Just kinda disappointed!

I love Vtech. They make very durable kid friendly products. My daughter had the original Innotab and begged us for the 2s for Christmas. This model was a little more than just the Innotab 2. We opted to get her the 2s because she really wanted it and it is nice to be able to download the games from the internet through the wifi connection and not have to pull out the cord and plug it in to the computer everytime. Plus it makes her feel like a grown up knowing she has wifi even if she can't go online. As with the previous Innotab I would reccomend getting rechargable batteries and/or a ac adapter. The batteries dont last too long. It is a really nicely made product. The camera is a huge plus on this device. It not only takes pictures but video too. My kids love to take pictures and place it in the funny pictures on the game that is included. There is also a microphone to use with the games. Technology gotta love it! You can also download music, pictures and movies. You can download movies very easily using the free toll through freemake.com. My kids love there Innotab's and I'm sure yours will too.

I bought the InnoTab 2s for my 3 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it and spends a lot of her quiet time playing with it. She and her older brother (8) really enjoy the camera and video function and the paint app. The InnoTab 2s requires 4 AA batteries and I would suggest investing in rechargeable batteries because it does go through batteries quickly. Vtech does offer a wall adapter and a car adapter for the InnoTab 2s that can be purchased separately (the car adapter would be a great choice for long car trips). Additional memory can be added to the InnoTab via a SD card. Music (in mp3 format) and Movies or Cartoons can be added to InnoTab 2s (Vtech includes instructions for adding movies in the owners manual and they must be in specific format before it will play).
